One of the oldest Wolves shirts known to exist

WOLVES MATCHWORN SHIRTS

DETAILS

Found in a loft clearance in Alberta Canada, it was then on sale in a local bric-a-brac shop for over 18 months before the owner realised it wasn’t an old ice hockey shirt after all!!!

After researching on the Internet he found the only sports team that had worn a shirt like that was Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Verified by both Wolves historians & BBC Antiques roadshow it is thought to have been the property of Wolves co-founder Jack Brodie who had also played for the club in the 19th Century. The basis for this theory being Brodie’s family is believed to have emigrated to Canada.
